Operation requirements after laboratory equipment is used up
1. General glass instruments (such as flasks, beakers, etc.): first rinse with tap water, then scrub with soap, washing powder and brush, then clean with tap water, and then rinse with purified water 3 times (should be flushed along the wall and fully Shake to improve flushing effect). Measuring glass instruments (such as burettes, pipettes, measuring bottles, etc.): can also be washed with soap and washing powder, but not with a brush.
2. Glass instruments that are accurate or difficult to wash (burettes, pipettes, measuring bottles, colorimetric tubes, glass vertical melting funnels, etc.): first rinse with tap water, drain, and then treat with chromic acid cleaning solution for a period of time (generally left overnight), then rinsed with tap water, then rinsed 3 times with purified water.
3. When washing the instrument, you should first wash your hands with soap, so as to prevent the oily dirt on your hands from adhering to the wall of the instrument, which increases the difficulty of washing.

4. There should be no water droplets on a cleaned glass instrument (when the cleaned instrument is inverted, no water droplets will hang on the wall after the water flows out).
Drying of glassware
(1) Drying: Instruments that are not urgently used can be placed on the instrument rack to dry naturally in a dust-free place.
(2) Instruments for emergency use can be dried with a glass instrument airflow dryer (the temperature is preferably 60-70 °C).
(3) Measuring glass instruments should be drained naturally and cannot be baked in an oven.
At the same time, the storage of glass instruments: they should be stored in the test cabinet in different categories, and they should be placed securely, and tall and large instruments should be placed inside. For grinding instruments that need to be stored for a long time, a piece of paper should be placed between the plugs to avoid sticking for a long time.
